Ride along the backbone of the island, overlooking the capital of Tenerife Santa Cruz and neighbouring island of Gran Canaria. Fragrant of the eucalyptus trees that mesmerises; and crisps red volcanic earth uphill trails will get your adrenaline pumping and heart pounding. You get to pick your level - from beginner to professional trail. An unforgettable experience is guaranteed!
Before the start of our mountain bike trip, participants will be receiving a short technical ride briefing. We will commence by zipping through the lush forests in the direction of "La Cumbre". This "ridge" runs through a lush 3-zone vegetation, right up to the nature reserve of Mount Teide National Park, Las Cañadas. Dense laurel forests, fragrant eucalyptus and the giant Canarian pines accompany us on a moderate ascent before arriving at our well-deserved short break at a local restaurant called Las Laguentas.
The ultimate thrill will be the 350m (which unfortunately far too short in our opinion) down the pine needle- padded trail. Food lovers, hang on to your appetite as there is still a slight uphill journey with views of Santa Cruz before we arrive at a restaurant with delicious Canarian cuisine.
The are several options for the final descent - from rapid downhill slopes to technically challenging trails. After this bike trip, one will understand why the area is named “the Magic Forest”.

- If possible, please bring the following: change of clothes, arm and leg warmers (winter time), hat, gloves, wind/ rain jacket and pants (short), shoe covers, fleece vest. Also, do bring snacks and drinking water (1.5l).
