This hiking tour is rated Medium 2. The total distance is 3 km and takes approximately 3 hours (including breaks) to complete.
We meet up at the parking area of Mirador de Es Vedrá. After walking for about 600 metres, the islands of Es Vedrá and Es Vedranell will begin to appear before us. We then hike up to where Tower of Pirate (Torre de Pirata) is for some excellent views of the coast below.
We continue ascending until the peak of Pirata (Pirate) before making our way down towards the “spiral of consciousness” and we are about this close to the famous sandstone quarry of Sa Pedrera Atlantis. The Phoenicians used to extract stones here to build the walls of Dalt Vila fort in the centre of Eivissa. It was abandoned and later rediscovered by the hippies (renamed Atlantis), believed to be a place of mystery power.
About another 600 metres descent will lead us to the sea level. There, we will explain how the Phoenicians used to work while you enjoy the beautiful scenery.
