Description:
For beginners, we offer a surf lesson that will show you the basics of surfing including proper set-up and how to row with correct technique in the water. Your surf instructor will explain how the waves lines work and various manoeuvre so you can move on water with minimum effort.
Surf theory aside, you will learn how to enter and exit the surf zone safely, observe the beach and its security zones, code of conduct and respecting other surfers in the area. Not to mentioned, this beginner’s surf lesson will also teach you how to properly use a surfboard and associated gears.
The surf lesson is held in group of maximum 8 learners. Lesson last for about 3 hours, including preparation, getting ready and briefing.
Languages: Spanish, English, French and Catalan
Pre-requisite:
- Minimum age is 6 years old
- You will need to be a confident swimmer
Please bring: comfortable shoes, bathing suit, clothes to change, towels and sun protection.

Price includes:
- Group beginner surf lesson with experience instructor
- Surf board and related materials, you can bring your own if you wish
- Neoprene
Price does not include:
- Food and drinks
- Transfer from hotels in Punta del Hidalgo/ Bajamar area available for a small fee
Important notes:
- Minimum age is 6 years old.
- You need to know how to swim and have no physical disability that prevent you from performing such activity.
- Please bring: comfortable shoes, bathing suit, clothes to change, towels and sun protection.
- In the event of severe weather, we will provide refund should alternative scheduling is not possible.
- Due to high demand, should your preferred date is fully booked (and no suitable alternatives dates available), iHoppers will provide full refund of deposit paid.
