A scenic excursion to Teide National Park with stunning landscapes. Enjoy Teide sunset with a glass of cava followed by stargazing. Sitting grandly at 3,718m is Mount Teide, the highest peak in Spain and the third largest volcanic structure in the world. In 2007, Teide National Park was declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO.
After picking up guests from hotels in Puerto de la Cruz, we drive up to the Teide National Park. Marvel at the change of landscapes as move closer. The views here are truly stunning with volcanic terrain and fascinating rock structures with the peak of Teide as a backdrop. Many blockbuster movies are filmed here due to its environmental conditions mimicking Mars. We will make several stops at viewpoints so you can relax, enjoy the scenery and take photos.
Your guide will then distribute sparkling cava. Let's have a toast to the sunset as we observe the twilight slowly casting the sky with gorgeous colors of pink, orange, and purple. Get your camera ready for stunning pictures of the silhouette of Teide rock formations against the bold-colored sky.
Dinner is not included in this tour. However, we will make a stop at a restaurant where you can have dinner.
Next up is stargazing. Teide National Park is one of the best "Starlight Destinations" in the world thanks to its location in the middle of the Atlantic ocean, its altitude, and being away from light pollution. Your professional guide will be pointing at the night sky using a laser marker, identifying and explaining the various star constellations above us. He/ she will be sharing a lot of information about Tenerife's night sky answer any questions you might have.
