This activity is a perfect option for those who would like to try paragliding for the first time. You can be a complete “freshman”, no experience is needed.
“Lagos Martiañez” pools - a marvelous paragliding tandem flight over the Lagos Martianez pools that are located on the volcanic rocks emerging from the sea in Puerto de la Cruz. The difference between this paragliding route (baptism) to the others is that we are using one of the hotels in Puerto de la Cruz as the launch point. For longer tour, we will launch from other places. Enjoy this amusing paragliding experience while marvelling at the spectacular creation of Cesar Manrique from high above.
There are 2 options to this paragliding routes when you book:
BAPTISM tandem paragliding:
You will fly between 100-400m, flight time is around 10-15 minutes*.
The whole experience including preparation time takes about 1.5 hour.
TOUR tandem paragliding:
You will fly from 400m, flight time is around 15-25 minutes*.
The whole experience including preparation time takes about 1h 45 mins.
* Depends on the wind and weather conditions on the day
Meeting point: Martianez beach, Puerto de la Cruz (subject to change due to weather, map with meeting will be sent closely to departure date)
Languages: Spanish, English, German, Russian, Polish, Italian.
Please bring: Comfortable clothes, long trousers, sport/close shoes
Restriction: Minimum weight 40kg, maximum weight 110kg

- Given paragliding is a weather-dependent adventure sport, we cannot guarantee the exact launch time, flight duration and route. Therefore your flexibility and open mind is appreciated. Your safety is our up most priority, we will only fly in conditions that allow us to launch and land safely.
