Description:
***Due to unforeseen circumstances, this activity is not available until further notice***
We embark on our mountain bike journey at La Guancha (at 500m) - originally a farming village, characterised by spectacular views and deep gorges. Here you can still see vegetables, potatoes and fine wine being cultivated in traditional manner. This relatively less explored area promises relaxation, where we are going to paddle gentle up pine forest on secluded forest trails. A nice change from the hustle and bustle of big city life.
A moderate ascent takes us on a landscaped slope towards the barbecue/ camping area of El Lagar. Here we will take a short break and have some snacks. From there it’s a further up ride to 1100m, with amazingly beautiful surroundings. We then we slide down through the side of the spectacular gorge of Barranco Arena, overlooking the northern coast of Tenerife. After that, we head back to our starting point for a delicious "carne fiesta".
