Description:
Mount Teide, the highest of Spain (3718m) is not to be missed when you come to Tenerife for a holiday. Although it can be seen from all parts of the island, the experience is truly different when you are up there, not to mentioned when standing on its summit! The whole area is basically a giant volcanic wonderland with the enormous Las Cañadas crater (almost 18km in diameters) attracting geologists and volcanologists from around the world.
Upon arrival at the Teide National Park, we will take the cable car up to 3,550 metres of the peak where we will climb the last 160 meters or so to the 3718m Teide summit. The feeling of standing between the sky and the sea is surreal.
