Horse riding is an unique way to explore the nature and beautiful landscapes of Lanzarote island. Located on the road connecting Arrecife and Yaiza, we are 20 minutes car ride away from Arrecife, Playa Blanca and Puerto del Carmen.
We offer excursions to suit beginners as well as expert riders. The routes are carried out separately so the beginners can ride at their own pace while the experienced riders enjoy trotting and galloping away.
There are two tours available, both designed in such a way so you get to enjoy the beautiful views of the sea and mountains. Variations will be thrown in to suit riders’ skill levels and experience.
1 hour guided horse riding
This tour suits both beginners and expert riders. Children from 7 years old are welcome.
2 hours guided horse riding
Our 2 hours tour is recommended for experienced riders who is confident is controlling a horse, and comfortable with trotting and galloping. On this tour, we will venture from our centre to the marina of Puerto Calero and the fishing village of Playa Quemada (without reaching the coast).
Upon arriving our centre, route information and safety briefing will be provided. Riders will be assigned suitable horses and group according to their skills and experience. Helmet is to be worn throughout the riding journey.
Please bring or wear:
- Comfortable clothes, long pants and closed shoes are recommended.
- Sun glasses and sun cream. If it feels chilly, bring a jersey or jacket to wear.

Important notes:
- 1 person per horse
- Minimum age is 7 years old, maximum weight is 85kg
- Due to high demand, should your preferred date is fully booked (and no suitable alternatives dates available), iHoppers will provide full refund of deposit paid.
