Description:
For divers who are keen to take their open water diving skills to the next level, the next step will be the Advanced Open Water Diver. Emphasizing more on practical then theory, you will learn to dive in various conditions. Once qualified, you are allowed a diving depth of up to 30 metres.
To complete the course, you must perform a total of 5 dives, of which 2 are mandatory: deep dive and underwater navigation. The other 3 you can choose from the many available specialities like peak performance buoyancy, night dive, boat dive, drift dive, etc.
At the end, there will be an exam to assess your ability to qualify as an Advanced Open Water Diver.
Daily schedule and timing to be confirmed closer to course commencement.
Prerequisites:
- Open Water Diver certified (please bring your certificate/ card)
- A recent ‘Fit to Dive” certificate issued by a doctor
- No sinus or nasal congestion problems during the course
- That you are not catching a flight within 24 hours of performing the dive

Price does not include:
- A personal diving insurance of €7 per day per diver or €13 per diver (valid for 1 week) can be bought from the centre
- Diving equipment which can be rented from the centre at €9 per dive, which includes regulator, BCD wet suit, boots, fins and mask.
Important notes:
- To bring: Open Water Dive cert/ card, a recent ‘Fit to Dive” certificate, swim suit and towel
- Due to limited space, should your preferred date and/ or time slot is not available (and no suitable alternatives available), iHoppers will provide full refund of deposit paid.
