Description:
This Treasures of Cagliari tour highlights the jewels of the ancient capital of the Reign of Sardinia. We will start in the Piazza Yenne and move to the San Remy rampart, which is a great lookout point to enjoy a beautiful view of the city.
The Cagliari tour continues to the Cathedral of Cagliari where you can appreciate the Romanesque art of crypta carved into the rock and the Pulpit by Maestro Guglielmo.
Next highlight is the Royal Palace. In its council room you can see the frescoes by Domenico Bruschi from Perugia. We then proceed to the Pisan tower of San Pancrazio, which was the North gate to the town in medieval times.
Finally, we will visit the Archaeological Museum where you can learn about the history of this fascinating area from prehistoric times to the dark ages.
Tour available in the following languages: Italian, English (by request German and French). Tour is run in a small group of maximum 6 persons.
