Cavern diving, especially in the Maltese archipelago with its brusque underwater scenery, is an exceptional experience that once you get started, had you in the mood for more. This is because on every dive, the cavern diver encounters a peaceful, deep blue world with its own flora and fauna. From time to time, one would discover the impressive and bizarre rock formations, that others could only imagine.
This special "Sea Caverns Dive" certificate is designed for ambitious sports divers who are keen to learn the necessary and specialised skills in associated with cave diving. Skills aside, participants will also get the first impression of what cavern diving is like.
A multitude of new experiences, an experienced diving team and a completely new aspect of diving awaits you!
Special certificate "Diving in sea caverns" - CMAS/IAC
The special certificate "Diving in sea caverns" is suitable for the adventurous sports divers. The goal of this training is to convey the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge and skills to allow you to participate in dives into small caverns and grottos.
Prerequisites
- Minimum age: 16 years old
- Minimum CMAS ** or equivalent
- Parental consent for under 18 years old
- Have logged a minimum of 30 dives
- Holds a valid diving medical certificate (not older than 3 months)
Equipment needed:
- Normal sport diving equipment
- Dive computer
- Diving light
