Join us on a memorable journey into the heart of Hungary where you will visit the Hungarian Puszta (part of the Great Plain) and learn about the Hungarian horse-herdsman "csikós" culture and tradition.
The tour begins with a visit to Kecskemét - a city located in the center of Hungary. Here, you will get to appreciate the contrast between a small countryside town to the bustling Budapest city. Kecskemét is a unique township that reminds the secessionist feeling of the past era.
About 20 km away is Lajosmizse. Upon arriving at the farm, we will receive a welcome drink "barackpálinka"- a fruit brandy made from apricot. We will enjoy a carriage ride in the "puszta", part of a Great Plain before the much-anticipated horseshow. See the Hungarian horse-herdsman "csikós" showcases their traditions and astounding horse-riding skills.
Afterward, we will stroll along the stable see the horses. It is possible to ride one if you wish (optional). We will conclude the tour will a sumptuous 3-course countryside style lunch which includes a Hungarian goulash. All this in an intimate setting with gypsy music playing in the background.
The tour will end, and we will return to Budapest city center.
