Beaches in La Orotava
The town of La Orotava itself doesn’t sit on the coast although the region baring the same name does make contact with the ocean at one point, offering small and secluded black sand coves for an opportunity to escape the crowds and relax. Surrounded by a cavernous shoreline of rock, typical of coves and beaches along the northern coast, some of these coves are reachable by car whilst others have little or no vehicle access and can only be visited on foot.
