Description:
This cycling tour, which approaches Teide from the south is the "crown" of our bike tours. You may begin the Teide cycling tour from our cafe or follow the intermediate route which leaves from Vilaflor. Regardless, the scenery, calm traffic and the road all make this a superb route, favourited by many world-class cyclists.
We will cycle along the TF21 towards Vilafor, which makes one of the best scenic ascend on Tenerife. We will stop for some supplies before cycling through the Coronal forest, direction Mount Teide.
The journey becomes more intense as we reach the 2000 metres mark above sea level where the air becomes thinner. We will make our way down to the massive crater and admire the stunning panoramic surrounding us at Teide National Park, which is also a World Heritage site. The stunning moon-like crater perching at 2300 meters amid pristine setting is a delightful highlight.
We continue towards the Parador Hotel, home to the pro-team when they are training on the island. We will stop and observe the amazing view of Teide peak from here.
Climbing back out from the crater, we will regroup and descent together to back to the south of Tenerife via El Frontón. Canarian lunch will be served at our very own cafe. We will then finish our tour back to where we began.

Minimum age to join this bike tour is 12 years old. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If you have your own bike, you can still join us and with the TOUR-only option.
