It is a 3-day pass that provides you with 48-hour Green Hop-on and Hop-off City Tour buses and 72 hours of unlimited journeys on the Airlink Express between the Airport and City centre and the public transportation bus system in Dublin.
The Airlink Express brings you directly from Dublin Airport to the city via the new port tunnel, with stops located across the city centre.
The Hop-on and Hop-off City Tour buses bring you to all the main attractions in Dublin City via two routes. You will learn more about Dublin via the live commentary in the bus, and hop off whenever at popular tourist favourites such as The Guinness Storehouse, The Book of Kells in Trinity College and Dublin Zoo.
Access to public transportation buses means no matter where you are staying in Dublin there will be a bus stop nearby you can use. You can take the bus into the city to join the sightseeing tour or maybe visit some great locations outside the city like Dún Laoghaire, Howth, Dalkey or Malahide.
Your Freedom Card combines the Leap Visitor Card with Dublin's No.1 Hop on hop off tour.
How does it work?
For the Leap Visitor Card, the 72 hour duration is activated from the first time you use it. Simply hold the card to the validators on all the transportation listed. A tone indicates that the card is being activated correctly.
Locations of the validators:
- DoDublin Airlink Express - the validator is on the right hand side as you enter the bus
- Luas (tram) network - the validator is on the platform beside where the tram stops (you only need to tap to get in, no need to tap off when you get off the tram)
- Dart and Commuter trains - the validators are located on the entry gate (you only need to tap to get in, no need to tap off when you get off the tram)
Please note that the card is only valid for short hop journeys within Dublin city and county only.
