While in Lanzarote, why not get another island "checked" off your list by joining a day tour to Fuerteventura island?
The tour begins with a 30 minutes ferry crossing from Playa Blanca in Lanzarote to Corralejo in the north of Fuerteventura. Twice as large as Lanzarote, this "island of strong wind" has its own unique appeal. You will see many rustic villages during your tour.
After lunch (not included), we will trace the winding road towards Betancuria - the formal capital of Fuerteventura, which takes after the name of the conquerer, Jean de Bethancourt. We continue our journey along mountainous roads before stopping at a Morro Velosa viewpoint. Breathtaking scenery aside, you will be amused by some curious chipmunks, often seen around this area.
Before heading back to Corralejo, we will drive past Puerto del Rosario, the current capital of Fuerteventura. There will be a brief stop at the sand dunes of Corralejo, where you will have the opportunity to have a quick stroll and take photos. We then head back to the port of Corralejo to board the 18:00 ferry back to Playa Blanca, arriving at approximately 19:00.
