Description:
We will track through the “fairytale” laurel forest of Anaga. It is not only one of the oldest part of Tenerife, but also the most important eco system on the island. Its dense laurel forests retains moisture providing the much needed water and helps keeping the soil fertile. The steep ridges of Anaga and its valleys and ravines that unfold to the sea level, form the various beaches we have now on the island, some so secluded they are only accessible by foot. Upon our descent you get full views to the beautiful and contrasting north and south coasts.
We end our trip with a swim at the Teresitas beach, where the powdery white sands were blown from the desert of Africa.
