Description:

***THIS VENUE IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED***

Come visit La Granja Verde – a 10,000 square meters of rural land consisting of agricultural and livestock farm, and serving the region’s unique food culture. It is located in the valley of La Orotava in the Canary Islands.

The agricultural farm houses 100 different crops that includes 7 orchards of fruit trees, 2 vegetable gardens, and a garden of aromatic and medicinal plants, while the livestock handles about 16 indigenous breeds of domestic Canarian animals such as goats, sheep, black pig, chikens, rabbits, and llamas.

At an additional price, you may also enjoy the unique experience of riding on a camel. Riding on ponies are also available for the younger guests.

The fresh produce from the farm either goes to “cajas verdes” (green boxes) that get sold to consumers, or to Dula y Pipa and Cordon de Uva, the farm’s restaurants serving the delicious Canarian dishes you should not miss.

Restaurants are open for lunch from 1:00pm to 4:00pm on Wednesday to Sunday, and brunch from 10:30am to 1:00pm on Sundays.

The visit to the farm will last in about an hour. Guided tour and fun route are also available for the younger guests.
