Description:
After picking up clients from hotels within the capital of Las Palmas, we begin our northern journey with a visit to the Bandama volcano. Measuring 1km in diameter, it features volcanic ash of different colours and some flora species of Canary Islands origin.
Next stop is Arucas - famed for its Arehucas rum distilleries and banana plantation. We will take a stroll in this quaint northern town of Gran Canaria and pay a visit to its majestic neogothic church of St John. Nearby is Firgas - the "water city" famed for its iconic cascading water fountain. There will be opportunity to take some pictures here.
We continue our tour to a quaint little fishing village called Puerto de las Nieves located on the north-west side of Gran Canaria. Lunch is optional. To complete our tour, we will drive towards the Berrazales valley of Agaete where the lush undulating terrain is filled with vineyards, coffee plantation and fruit orchards. We will enjoy a relaxing time with a unique cup of coffee with wine tasting.
