Description:
Let us take you to the northeast coast of Madeira where you will find the terraces of the vineyards producing the wines that have delighted locals and tourists. Venture off-road and be delighted by rural surroundings, with some look the same as they were, half a century ago.
We will go through the thick Laurissilva forest and visit the Santana village, where you will see the traditional stone houses with huge triangular roofs that are truly unique and extraordinary. We will also visit other preserved relics like water sawmill and a rum factory powered by steam.
The tour takes about 8 hours in total. We offer free transfers from Funchal, Caniço and Câmara de Lobos areas area. Pick up time from Funchal centre is commences at 8:30 am, remaining areas to be confirmed according to where you stay.
