Description:
On this 2.5 hours catamaran excursion with Fancy II, we will explore the impressive cliffs and coastline of La Palma island. We will visit 2 volcanic caves - Cueva Bonita and Cueva de Candelaria; the latter was once used as the shelter for the pirates and the aboriginals known as the Benhaoritas.
Other highlights are: Poris Candelaria, Playa de la Veta, Pozo de Tinizara and Poris Punta Gorda.
The fun begins when we dock near the beautiful beaches of the island. You can choose to swim, snorkel or glide speedily on a banana boat. After some refreshing drink, we set sail to look for the dolphins. These friendly mammals love racing along our catamaran and show off with some leaps. If we are lucky, we may see a big school of them, sometimes in a pack of hundreds. Through our underwater viewing window, these curious creatures can be seen swimming up-close. A truly amazing experience to be had while in Tazacorte.
About Fancy II
Fancy II is a powerful catamaran built for safe and comfortable excursions on the waters of La Palma. It is well equipped with marine stereo, life raft and safety jackets to ensure upmost safety to its passengers. The catamaran features a top deck for that wonderful vistas of the surrounding, a solarium, a bar and WC. The underwater glass viewing windows on each side of the catamaran make for excellent observation of seabeds and marine creatures. There are many seating options on the catamaran to make yourself comfortable in. Our international crew is friendly and speak various languages.
