Our methods are original and innovative in the sense that we utilise the Carver Sk8 balancing board as functional training for surfing on dry land. Carver, the Californian Sk8 company, is very particular about their skate characteristics. It simulates all aspects of surfing positions and helps achieve amazing improvement on surfing techniques on the ground. In other words, Carver Sk8 brings many of the training required in the water (and a surfboard) ashore.
Carver Sk8 in Fuerteventura has been preparing the Italian snowboarding team for the 2013 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The Italian surf athletes participating at national and international level also supplemented their trainings using our methods.
You can choose between the morning or the afternoon session. Each day’s lesson consists of 3.5 hours. Start time depending on the group, to be confirmed a day before the class.
Prerequisites: You must be at least 8 years of age.
Courses available in English, Spanish and Italian.
Please bring: sport shoes, t-shirt and hooty
