No visit to Budapest is complete without a bath in one of its world-famous thermal spring spas, The Gellert Spa. It is one of the most prestigious thermal baths on the Buda side of the city. Built in 1913, it is famous for the Art-Nouveau design aesthetic of its walls, glass, furnishing, and sculptures. It also has a sparkling bath and a special open-air wave pool. Its thermal spring is one of the deepest and warmest baths in the city.
By booking your tickets in advance, you do not have to wait in a queue – fast and easy entrance provided through Hungária Koncert separate welcome desk.
There are several options available: entrance with locker, entrance ticket with cabin, optional massages or opt for the I love Spa Gellert package.
Massages:
Get pampered by our delicate hand massage treatment. Aroma massage is a recreational technique with calm, slow and gentle motions and strokes. The primary goal is muscle relaxation without strong and painful movements. You can choose from:
- 20 minutes partial massage (to be performed on back or shoulders, or upper or lower limbs)
- 45 minutes full body massage (excluding head and foot)
I love Spa Gellert is a package where guests are well cared for by our friendly colleagues which will guide you around the spa. The package includes:
- Spa entrance ticket with cabin of use
- I love Gellért Spa towel
- Flip flops
- Shower gel
- Bottle of mineral water
The spa is generally open Mondays to Sundays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Your ticket is valid for full-day until 8:00 pm for the requested date, and gives you access to the 13 baths, steam rooms, saunas, and a Roman-style swimming pool. Please note that the baths are mixed – there is no gender separation. Massage (aroma/thermal) may be added at an additional cost. Towel rental is also available.

Important notes:
- The facility closes at 20:00 and the guests stay until closing time. However, you have to arrive before 18:00.
