Jetski in Lanzarote
Only 100 kilometres away from the African mainland, Lanzarote is the easternmost and longest of the Canary Islands. This volcanic island paradise offers visitors a chance to relax and energise during their holidays. Jet skiing is an ideal way for holiday makers to combine an exhilarating adrenalin rush with a soothing dip in the turquoise blue water of the Atlantic Ocean, and take with them a lasting memory of Lanzarote.
Lanzarote's year round warm temperatures and seldom rainfall makes it the ideal setting for outdoor activities. Jet skiing is possible almost every day and offers locals and tourists alike an exhilarating, high-speed experience.
In the south-east of Lanzarote, Playa Chica in Puerto del Carmen is the best place to hire out jet skis. The sport centres offer jet skis at different prices, but €50 per person or €60 for a two-passenger jet ski, is the average price for a circuit 20-minute ride. A one and half hour jet ski- safari costs about €200 per person, or €250 for a two-passenger jet ski safari. Driving a jet ski is very easy to get the hang of, but there are qualified instructors on hand to give helpful tips to anyone who finds it tricky.
The soothing waters of the Atlantic are the ideal place to wind down after the adrenaline rush of the jet ski, while the great landscape of Lanzarote seen on the drive will not be forgotten.
