*** IMPORTANT: This kayak tour requires you to be at the Masca Pier, which is reachable only via hiking down approx. 3 hours down the Masca gorge (allow extra time to get to the top of Masca gorge) OR take a water taxi from Los Gigantes*** If you are not keen to hike or take a water taxi, you can join the Kayak Los Gigantes tour which is equally nice and have an easier to reach meeting point***
Our sea kayaking tour departs from the Pier of Masca Bay. To make this tour complete, you can hike down the breathtaking Masca gorge and meet us at the pier. For those who are pressed for time or not keen to hike but still want to witness the beautiful gorge, there is a taxi boat taking you from Los Gigantes to Masca pier.
The sea kayaking journey takes approximately 2 hours. One will be impressed by the magnificent vistas of the whole journey. The vertical sea cliffs, some as high as 400 metres are best viewed from the coast, along with the floras and faunas inhabiting the area.
En route we stop by Barranco Seco beach for a refreshing swim and snorkel in its clear waters.
The kayaks come in the form of tandem kayak (2 seats). If you come alone, you might be required to share with a fellow kayaker. This tour is excellent for introduction to sea kayaking.
