Description:
On this jeep safari adventure, we will take you the highest peaks of Madeira to witness the breathtaking views of the island. We will start our journey by visiting the historical bay in the southeast where the Portuguese landed in 1400s. The jeep tour continues along the old royal pathways, through the deep and thick forests, and we will be able to witness the wonderful panorama of the ancient terraces.
We will venture to isolated rural areas with charming rural villages and to see the traditional houses with huge triangular roofs. This jeep tour not only is culturally rich but rewards you will the best views of the Madeira landscapes and the sea.
The tour takes about 8 hours in total. We offer free transfers from Funchal and Canico area. Pick up time from Funchal centre is commences at 8:30 am, remaining areas to be confirmed according to where you stay.
