Description:
There are a number of biking routes one can part take in the National Park of Teide. The Teide-west route is our most popular tours in which cyclists get to ride on luna landscape and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
We can begin the mountain bike and road bike tour from Chio or Los Paleos, up towards the mountain. From here, the glorious view of Teno mountain range can be enjoyed and as our cycling tour progresses to a higher altitude of the volcanic landscape, the silhouette of the La Gomera and La Palma islands can be seen amidst the blue Atlantic ocean.
We will make a stop at Boca Tauce where you will get an up-close look at the highest volcano of Spain - Pico del Teide. The last time the volcano erupted was about a century ago. We continue our bike tour towards the crater and enjoy the stunning view of Teide National Park from a different angle. Riding above 2 kilometres from sea level is a unique experience you do not want to miss while on Tenerife. For those with electric mountain bikes, you will have the option to push yourself further up to the cable car station which is 2300 metres high.
As we ride back out from the crater, we will meet at Retamar and get ready for a 25 kilometres descent towards San Miguel. There we will enjoy a sumptuous lunch of typical Canarian dishes in our very own bike cafe and recount the amazing ride that we just had.

Minimum age to join this bike tour is 12 years old. Under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If you have your own bike, you can still join us and with the TOUR-only option.
