Description:
Camel Park was the first center to breed camels in Tenerife in 1988. It started with 15 camels and was able to take care more than 60 animals in 1993. The camel safaris began from Guaza to Palmar and the participants were welcomed back at the park with a Canarian meal and sangria to share among themselves. The owners then bought a Canarian ranch in 1995, situated between la Camella and Chayofa, and this is where the present Camel Park stands and continues to welcome the guests to its wonderful environment and farm animals.
The park is a rural environment located near the resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de las America. Get on a camel ride and witness the views of the mountains and the sea as you wander through the spectacular terrain and landscapes of Tenerife.
You may also visit the farm to meet the other animals they breed like goats, donkeys, ducks, chickens and parrots.
After the camel ride, you may have lunch or dinner at their in-house restaurant that serves Canarian and Mediterranean cuisine, El Cerro de la Luna.
The park is open at 10:00am to 5:00pm. The restaurant serves meals at 12:00nn to 4:00pm and 7:00p to 11:00pm.
