Beaches in Masca

Masca Beach

The mouth of the gorge opens out into a secluded, narrow beach with black sand and cool, simmering sea. From the sand, volcanic rocks soar and curl around the bay, giving the beach a lagoon feel. There are a number of rocks that you must climb across to get to the sand. Therefore, it is not suitable for very small children or those who have difficulty walking. However, you can still witness the beauty of the cove from the boat trips, some stop off to let passengers swim and snorkel in the crystal clear sea. You might even spot a dolphin on your way!
