Description:
Unlike the hot and desert-like southern region of the island, the northern part of Tenerife is dominated by the oldest ecosystem of the island. The Anaga mountain range features lush laurisilva forests, dragon trees and numerous species of cactus on its stunning volcanic formations of ravines and valleys. We will also drive past the pretty villages of Taganana and Las Mercedes.
This protected rural park of Anaga overlooks 2 important municipals of the island: San Cristobal de La Laguna - a UNESCO world heritage site, and the capital of the island, Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Our knowledgeable drivers/ guides will be thrilled to share interesting facts and stories about the places we are visiting. We will stop by one of the villages to enjoy some local cuisines for lunch.
Meeting point and time:
Pick up commences in hotels in the south of Tenerife from around 08:30 am, exact time to be confirmed. The jeep safari journey commences and ends approximately 09:15 to 17:30, please allow for extra time for the transfer.
