Los Cristianos is very close to other nearby resorts, which are only a short taxi or car ride away (some activities providers even offer free pick-ups), so don't feel that your choices of activities are only limited to where you are staying.

Camel Park
This exceptional day out offers visitors the opportunity to go on a camel safari through the country area surrounding the farm. Refreshments are provided in a small café selling snacks and drinks, and you will be greeted with an Arab meal and tea, as well as being able to admire and buy the goods produces by its breeding and handicraft centre. It is open all year round, from 10am to 5pm, and there is a free shuttle bus service from the main bus stations of Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas. Located 300 metres away from the farm is Restaurant El Cerro de la Luna serving delicious meals in its gardens and terraces.

Siam Park
Since its inauguration in 2008, Siam Park has firmly held the crown for Europe's most spectacular water theme park, with a wide range of slides and rides to match everyone's interests – whether you just want to relax, get your adrenalin fix, or have some family fun. Its pièce-de-resistance is its 3m high Artificial Surf Wave (the highest in the world!) which breaks onto a man-made beach, can be used to wave ride or just to have fun – surfers can even book the wave for private use after hours. Other highlights include The Giant – twin bowls moved by centrifugal forces, The Naga Racer – a six-lane high-speed plunge into The Mekong Rapids in a family-sized raft, The Volcano – a high-powered tunnel ride, whereby four facing riders are shot into a massive bowl and whirled around a few times, or, last but not least, The Tower of Power – a 28m drop with an unforgettable finish!
For your eating and shopping desires, there is a Floating Market which brings you straight into a Thai Village world, where you can enjoy Thai massage, or simply pick up some souvenirs, snacks, or other supplies (i.e. bathing suits, or sun cream) – there is even a Billabong surf shop by the “beach”. There is also a Tea House, Beach Bar, Thai Bar, and a Beachclub Restaurant available.

Boat trips in Tenerife
Monte Carlo Catamaran
Come onboard Monte Carlo Catamaran for a 2 hours excursion in one of the best places in the world for whale and dolphin watching. The catamaran boasts an 180º front viewing deck for view of the amazing coastline of Tenerife, while the glass bottom offers amazing underwater vision- perfect to watch pilot whales in their natural environment. The whales and dolphins
The waters off the south coast of Tenerife is home to colonies of whales and dolphins. These sea mammals do not migrate and therefore, can be spotted all year round. Short-fin pilot whales are the main whale species to be found here, while there are no lack of bottle nose and stripe dolphins in these waters. There are currently over 30 pods of these whales, with each consisting of 15 whale members, led by a dominant male. A mature whale can grow up to 8 metres in length and weight 2.5 tonnes.
Le Monte Carlo Catamaran
The catamaran has the seating capacity of 200 people. This 20 metres long, 8 metres wide vessel has a glass bottom and an 180º viewing deck. There are also a bar inside for shade and your refreshment needs.

- All boats have an annual inspection and have everything needed in case of an emergency such as life jackets, rafts, etc.
- Crew members are trained in CPR should any accident occur.
Live the pirate dream with Jolly Roger, a replica of the 18th century pirate galleons. Setting sail from the port of Los Cristianos, Jolly Roger pirate ship and its crew will take you out to the sea, in search of pilot whales which inhabits the waters here all year round. The sail boat then anchors at a calm and beautiful bay where you can enjoy a swim and lunch. The journey continues along the breathtaking coastline of southTenerife with amazing views of Mount Teide (the highest mountain of Spain) before heading back to the port of Los Cristianos.

Jolly Roger pirate ship was built in 1990 bearing in mind the fun factors for an enjoyable sea excursion. With its upper and lower deck, this 6.1 metres wide, 23 metres long vessel could fit 80 people. There's a shaded area, a bar and toilet facilities on board.

Go-karting in Tenerife
For those onto speed and adrenaline-filled activities, why not have a round or two of go-karting? Located less than 15 minutes drive away from Los Cristianos (via TF1 highway), the Karting Club Tenerife is by far the largest and most experienced provider of go-karting sports in Tenerife. There are 2 types of circuits to suit different age groups. Prices start from €10 (junior circuit) and €20 (senior circuit).
Karting Club Tenerife
The largest club and most experienced in go-karting sports in Tenerife with over 25 years history, Karting Club Tenerife offers locals and tourists alike ideal racing conditions under the open sky. It has a large terrace/ grandstand overlooking the circuits, a karting school, a bar, a shop and ample parking. There are also football, Scalextric and slot machines to keep you entertained.

The main circuit (senior circuit) is of high quality with the best technical conditions, it is regularly used for national competitions. The track is 1,000 metres long, with the narrowest point of at least eight feet wide- allowing exciting overtaking on the entire route. Two types of karts are driven in this circuit: The "Superkart"with 270 cubic centimeters (cc) for those over the age of 18, and the go-kart "Competición" with 200 cc which is suitable for those between 15-17 year olds. There is a LED display of ranking and best laps so you can compare your performance to that of your group.
The junior circuit is 250 meters long and also at least eight feet wide. It complies to the maximum safety standards and is ideal for younger go-kart racers. Three types of karts are available for this track: the "tandem 2- seater" for child under 5 years (must be accompanied by an adult), the "Pony" for children between 6-9 years, as well as the "Cadet" for youngster between 10-14 years old.

Group events are ideal for those wanting to celebrate a special day (i.e.: birthday) with friends and family. As for companies looking an excursion or event day with their employees, go-karting is an ideal and fun way to promote healthy competition and teamwork. Some of the group karting events are as follows:
Endurance Race (min. 40 people, max. 100 people), 2 hours 45 minutes, €75 per person.
Gran Prix (min. 16 people), 2 hours, €60 per person.
Special Gran Prix (up to 30 people), 1 hour, €50 per person.

Rules:
Go-kart must be driven in a proper manner. The following infringements will cause immediate termination of the time stated on the ticket for the use of the Go-karts without refund or right to claim:
- Leaving the track and/or charging against the protective tyres.
- Not letting others pass or blocking other karts.
- Pushing other vehicles thereby causing unnecessary accidents.
- Not obeying signs given by track employees.
- Dangerous driving.
- The management may cancel any ticket without refund is it is considered necessary on account of drunkenness, persons under age, misbehaviour or any other justificable reason.
Dive Trips in Tenerife
Join Sa Caleta Tenerife in one of the amazing dive trips in Los Cristianos, south of Tenerife. This dive centre has recently moved into a newer and bigger permise (250m2), offering you the latest diving equipments and everything you need for a successful trip under water. Sa Caleta and its experienced instructor will be more than happy recommend various dive sites according to your interest and experience (of course, weather prevails!). There are also an extensive range of PADI diving courses. Dive excursion starts from €31 and a 4-day Open Water course is priced at €355.
Most of the dive excursions take place near the port of Los Cristianos and you will be taken to the dive cites by boat (5-20 minutes). The most frequented dive sites are:
- Roncadores del Palmar - you will encounter trumpets, white breams, fire worms, octopus, barracuda, parrot fish, amongst others.
- El Condesito - an exciting dive to inspect the 30 metres long sunken wreck.
- El Puertito - recommended for beginners, no current, good visibility and possibility to see a bale of turtles.
- Roncadores del Faro - located just before the Punta Rasca's lighthouse, this dive site is also known as Atlantida due to its rocky formation in the basalt and tunnel.
- Playa Paraiso* - you will see diferent species of stingrays, trumpets of all sizes, and parrots fish.
- Palm Mar Cave* - you will see a cave, a sculpture of virgen, and lots of moray eels of different species and sizes.
- El Caracol* - wreck dive with possibility to see stingrays, turtles, bastard grunt, tumpets, breams, fire worms, octopus, barracuda, parrots, stingrays, turtle, and more.

Discover Scuba Dive (DSD)
Not sure if scuba diving is your thing? Try one for yourself! he first dive with your fully qualified instructor, insurance and all equipment cost €55. An optional DSD license is available for €25 at the end of the course.
Open Water Diver (OWD)
This course is made up of three main components: the theory, 5 dives in swimming pool (confined water) and 4 dives in open water. Minimum 4 days and you get to decide when to commence your course. The cost is €355 and if you have already completed the Discover Scuba Dive, only €300 is to be paid.
Advanced Open Water Diver (AOWD)
The completion of the following modules: underwater orientation, night dive, wreck diving, night diving, underwater photography and identification of flora and fauna.

Rescue Diver
The course covers a wide range of topics pertaining to diving-related rescues and emergencies: self rescue, recognising and managing stress of other diver, equipment and emergency management, and more. Cost €285.
Emergency First Response
This first aid course gives you the following vital measures in more detail: the use of the AED (Automatic External Defibrillator), resuscitation and breathing on a non-professional level, prevention and management of shock, operating the necessary equipment and the proper handling of spinal damage. Cost €185.
Dive Master
PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities, qualifying you to supervise dive activities and assist instructors with student divers.
- Minimum 18 years of age
- PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
- PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent)
- An Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (completed within the last 24 months)
