Bananera Jardines del Atlántico
Bananera Jardines del Atlántico is a perfect place to visit if you are interested in learning more about the growing and production of Playa de las Américas’ biggest crop- bananas. Not only is Bananera Jardines del Atlántico a working banana plantation, it also offers an insight into the traditional way of life for a farmer in Tenerife. As well as viewing the premature shells of the growing bananas, you will also see some small animals around the plantation.
Bananera Jardines del Atlántico offers tours of the plantation four times a day in various languages, giving you a chance to explore every nook and cranny. This is one to visit for lovers of nature and visitors of all ages. There is also a museum devoted to farming throughout the ages, which is also relevant to the economic history of Playa de las Américas.

Parque Las Aguilas (Eagle Park)
Great Whale & Dolphin Mural
One of the world's largest, this mural re-creates whale and dolphin life in their natural habitat. It was created at the dock of Los Cristianos by whale conservationists and environmental activists, as reminder of these mammals' need for protection from human beings. The mural carries the slogan “Los Cristianos – Port of Nature”, and measures 4.800m2 overall – a moving reminder of the fragility of nature.
