This helicopter excursion of 120km combines the best of north and south Tenerife with main focus being Teide National Park - one of the most visited national parks in Europe and a UNESCO world heritage site. During winter, the peak of Teide is snow-capped, presenting a very different panorama contrasting to the rather warm climate in the rest of the island. On this helicopter ride, we will fly over some of the amazing natural phenomenons of the island and enjoy the stunning views from a perspective not many have seen. We then enjoy the breathtaking vista of the lush valley of La Orotava and the nearby charming coastal town of Puerto de la Cruz before making our way back to Adeje via Vilaflor’s high mountain area. In Santiago del Teide area we’ll get to witness traces of lava “tongues” stretching towards the sea - a result of the massive volcano eruption on the island which occurred just over a century ago.
The remaining of the tour (especially the initial part) are similar to that of Isla Baja (Low Island) tour.
Highlights of this 50 minutes Gran Teide VIP helicopter tour: Costa Adeje golf course, La Caleta, Playa San Juan, Alcalá, Puerto del Santiago, Santiago del Teide, Teno, Buena Vista del Norte, Garachico, La Orotava, return through Coronal Forestal, Tamaimo and Tejina.
Tours are run on 2 types of helicopters: Jet Range Bell 206 for a pilot plus 4 passengers or a Robinson R44 for a pilot plus 3 passengers.

Important notes:
- Each passenger is to bring along a valid ID in the form of passport, NIE or DNI.
- For proper distribution of weight on the helicopter, passenger of over 110kg might be required to book two seats (second seat at 50%).
- Unless you booked a private helicopter ride, you will be sharing the flight with other passengers, we will try to put couple and family together (whenever possible), all seats have excellent visibility with direct view through windows.
- Due to high demand, your booking will be confirmed manually. Should your preferred date is fully booked (and no suitable alternatives dates available), iHoppers will provide full refund of deposit paid.
- Once confirmed, cancellation within 48 hours will not be refunded. 50% is refundable if cancel with at least 48-hour notice.
