There are a number of routes to choose from:
2 hours Volcán Tour:
A journey through the volcanic landscape along the western outskirt of the Timanfaya national park. At La Geria, we will drive along rows upon rows of dimple-like semi-circled vine cultivation called the Zocos. This unique viticulture method is adapted for the volcanic soil condition and to protect the crops from the wine. Whitestone houses at Tinguatón characterised the next part of the journey before we make a stop at the Mancha Blanca visitor centre. The centre boasts information about the Timanfaya Park, the island and its volcanoes. There are washroom facilities here.
Heading south towards the Golfo region, our Polaris Slingshot tour continues along a straight road, into the realm of an open space of lava landscape, volcanoes and wilderness. We will then drive past Los Hervideros, famed for its rugged coastline with sea caves and crashing waves, and the Janubio Salt Pans before returning to our starting point.
3.5 hours Grand Tour
Our Polaris Slingshot Grand Tour begins from La Geria with its unique vine plantation method- Zocos. We venture east along these countless dimple-like semi-circled rock formations, used to protect the vines against the wind. The scenery then changes as ride past charming villages with white-washed houses. Driving towards Famara, we will drive past the Monumento al Campesino (Monument of the Peasant), make a stop at an interesting point for photos before stopping in town. The journey continues through Soo, La Santa and its coast with sandy landscapes before we arrive at the visitor centre. We will make a stop here where learn more about the Timanfaya National Park, the island and its volcanoes. There are washroom facilities here.
Our Polaris Slingshot tour continues towards the Golfo region in the south. Enjoy a scenic ride along a straight road featuring an open space of lava, volcanoes cones and rugged landscapes. We will then drive along the picturesque rugged coastline of Los Hervideros and past by Janubo salt pans before heading back to the starting point.
5.5 hours Xtreme tour
We begin our Polaris Slingshot adventure from La Geria, a region of wineries and volcanoes. We will be driving along its countless rows of unique semi-circled vine cultivation called the Zocos. This method is adapted specifically to the volcanic condition of the island, as well as to protect the vine from harsh winds. We will drive past Teguise, a charming village which was once the capital city of Lanzarote. We then head to Teseguite where we will cross the garden of cactus towards the direction of Arrieta and Haría. By now we are at the north of Lanzarote. Our first stop is the viewpoint of Guinate (Mirador de Guinate). This place is not overly -crowded and offers excellent views of the Famara beach on your left and the neighbouring island of La Graciosa on your right. Leaving behind the volcano of La Corona behind, we continue our Polaris Slingshot tour through Órzola and Punta Mujeres towards Famara. We will make a small scenery stop before entering the town for a lunch stop. Lunch included (a menu meal with choices)
After the break, we proceed our journey through sandy landscapes of Soo, La Santa and Tinajo before arriving at the visitor centre where there's exposition featuring interesting information about the Timanfaya National Park, the island and its volcanoes.
Passing in front of the Montañas del Fuego (Mountains of Fire), we continue our Polaris Slingshot journey towards the south for the Golfo region. This will be a scenic ride along a straight road featuring an open space of lava, volcanoes cones and rugged landscapes. We will make a stop in Golfo before driving past Los Hervideros, famed for its volcanic coastline with sea caves and crashing waves, as well as the salt pans of Janubo. We will then make our way back to our starting point via Yaiza and Uga.

All routes take place on the road, with stops at various places of interest for photos and toilet break. It is also possible to swap driver during the stops. To drive a Polaris Slingshot, the driver must be at least 21 years old, have a valid car license (minimum 2 years, provisional not accepted). Minimum age as the passenger is 7 years old. Driver must wear closed shoes.
Safety briefing, rules, vehicle manoeuvre and tour route will be explained before the start of the tour.
Please bring a jacket, sun cream and sunglasses. There's a possibility to buy some drinks at the beginning and during the tour or you can bring some water or soft drinks with you.
