Description:
Diving Baptism is a fantastic way to discover scuba diving and to see if you like it. It is also perhaps the only dive you can do without having a dive certificate. Carried out in a very controlled manner, you are in the safe hands of our qualified and experienced instructor.
After a 15 minutes of video briefing, your dive instructor will explain the basics of scuba diving and how the equipment works. Then, you will be doing a full immersion (max. 7 metres) in the safest and most comfortable manner while enjoying the underwater marine creatures. Your instructor will be coaching you step by step into the underwater world, look after your buoyancy control, and teach you how to equalise your ears, and perform mask clearing (should water slips in). All you need to do is follow his/ her guidance, breath normally (with mouth), keep calm and enjoy the experience.
Prerequisite:
- Minimum age to take part in this activity is 10 years old
- Not having sinus or nasal congestion when performing the dive
- That you are not catching a flight within 24 hours of performing the dive
To bring: swim suit and towel
What's included & what's not
Price includes:
- Theory and briefing session
- Dive equipment and an immersion of not exceeding 7 m in depth
Price does not include:
- A personal diving insurance of around €6 per diver

- Diving Baptism is simply a diving tester, it does not certify or enable you as a diver.
- Due to limited space, should your preferred date and/ or time slot is not available (and no suitable alternatives available), iHoppers will provide full refund of deposit paid.
