Sights and attractions in Playa Blanca

Check out the watchtower once used to monitor pirates and spend some time strolling the chic Marina Rubicón. Timanfaya National Park, the emerald lagoon of El Golfo and the beautiful salt plains are all short drive away.

                         

Castillo de las Coloradas

Also known as Castillo de Torre del Águila, this 18th century watchtower was built for the purpose of fending off pirates. This sturdy historical structure stands proudly on Punta del Águila, on the east of the newly developed Marina Rubicón.

 

Marina Rubicón

This beautiful and luxurious marina is a newly-developed leisure harbour offering high quality yachting and boat services along with boutique shops, restaurants and leisure activities. Just a short walk from Playa Blanca town centre, it is an excellent place for a relaxing walk, shopping, have a drink or sampling the many cuisines available.
