Scramble past gorges and canyons of La Palma and gift yourself an experience like none other. These canyoning excursions are led by experienced guides who know the area like the palm of their hands. You will learn several techniques from our certified canyoning guides like abseiling from different heights using basic rappel techniques, for example. We offer 3 different types of canyon tours in La Palma, each organized and structured to suit different age groups and fitness levels. Each route is designed to incorporate challenging obstacles suitable to its level to ensure a memorable experience for all participants.
Beginner Level:
This is the only canyoning tour where children can take part, and would also suit those who have not tried this activity before. Anyone above the age of 6 can join, however, adult supervision is mandatory for children to participate. The tour takes about 3-5 hours* to complete and has some very incredible views to offer. This basic canyoning tour is not very challenging but equally amusing.
Intermediate Level:
This Intermediate Canyoning tour is more challenging than the basic tour with a minimum age requirement of 12 years (under adult supervision). The duration of this tour is 4-6 hours* and features challenges of medium difficulty. Set amidst picturesque settings, this tour assures fun and challenges for all participants.
Advance Level:
The Advanced Canyoning tour requires optimum physical fitness due to its length and will surely test your endurance throughout the adventure. The tour is crafted for youngsters and adults for a nail-biting experience. Spanning over 6-9 hours*, it goes past some of the toughest paths on the island and offers most testing canyons and cliffs for you to surmount. Minimum age to take part is 16 (parental consent is required for minors).

Note/ to bring: Dress up appropriately as some tough challenges lie in store for you, wear sport/ hiking shoes you don’t mind getting wet, towel, sun protection, water and food for the duration of excursion, and a jacket/ extra layer especially during winter.

- Optional transportation fee of EUR8 per person

Important notes:
- Due to high demand, your reservation will be confirmed manually. Should your preferred date is fully booked (and no suitable alternatives dates available), iHoppers will provide full refund of deposit paid.
- Best activity location will be decided closer to time subject to weather and coastal conditions. You may drive to the agreed activity point yourself or arrange with Palmaventura for pick up at an additional EUR8 per person, payable on day of excursion. Map indicated below is NOT the actual activity point.
