Beaches in Puerto de Mogán

The sand of the Puerto de Mogán beach was actually imported from the Sahara desert. As a result the sand is gloriously golden and it stretches a considerable way across the area. The sea on this beach is almost always calm, due to a device implanted towards the shore of the area which eliminates heavy waves. This makes it possible for swimmers to relax and feel truly at peace.

For those of a more adventurous nature, all you have to do is swim out around 40 or so metres. Here, the waves are more lively and the sea is slightly more aggressive. This is also a good area to bring snorkels and diving equipment.

The promenade on this beach offers a range of different restaurants and shops. So you can satisfy any food or shopping craving without too much trouble!
