Description:
Via ferrata literally means "metal path" in Italian. It is a protected climbing route with steel cable which runs along the route and fixed to the rock wall at certain distance interval. Using stapes, steps, and chains, it is a more secure and accessible way of climbing vertical cliffs. Via Ferrata is a great way to have a taste of the world of climbing.
We will climb a rock wall of about 140m in height along an approximately 250m course. Our via ferrata climbing locations are mainly in the south, in the Berriel canyon (near the Tarajalillo aeroclub), using trails which we have collaborated in their construction. Please note that duration might vary depending on the chosen canyon.
Anyone above the age 12 can join us on this "vertical hiking" adventure. Child under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. You must also not afraid of height. You will be equipped with safety gears and securely fastened to a steel cable at all times. Group size is 2-8 persons.
While you are vertical hiking, don't forget to look around and enjoy the stunning surrounding of cliffs and landscapes of Gran Canaria.
Our guides are qualified and experienced. The latest and the most advanced gears are used so you will have fun in the safest possible environment. Obviously, you will need to pay 110% attention to the safety briefing and instructions :)

- We can only confirm your booking and activity location closer to time. Once your booking is confirmed, we will communicate with you regarding the meeting point and time.
