Description:
Join us on an environmental-friendly electric bike tour to explore the beautiful south coast of Gran Canaria.
Our expert and multilingual guide will be accompanying you as he/she points out the most spectacular sights on the e-bike journey. The excursion begins with a paddle to the famous Maspalomas dunes - a natural reserve which boasts a desert of golden sand dunes.
We continue our tour towards the Botanical Park of Maspalomas. There, we will have a brief walking tour to learn about floras and plants endemic to the Canary Islands.
We then ride along the coast with the Atlantic ocean on full view as we ride past the Meloneras Beach and Pasito Blanco Port. There will be an opportunity to check out a few banana plantations. Next, we will stop at an archaeological site to check out the remainings of aboriginal
dwellings of the Guanches. The Guanches are the primitive pre-Hispanic population that inhabited the archipelago before the Spanish conquest.
Finally, we will arrive at an old fishing village named El Pajar. We will stop to visit the charming hamlet and admire its volcanic beach. We will also be checking out the Cueva de Santa Águeda. It is a unique tiny church built in a cave.
To conclude our electric bike tour, we will enjoy a delicious local tapas lunch with a fantastic view of the ocean.
