Description:
Paratrike is a seated paraglider geared with back engines and a set of wheels. In other words, no physical requirement (i.e.: running) is needed for takeoff and landing in this powered-paragliding activity. This makes paratrike one of the safest flying activities. Another advantage of paratrike is that it does not rely on wind, allowing better control on height and duration of the flight.
The flight time is approximately 25 minutes, but please allow 1 hour for the whole experience which includes transfer time to flight zone, briefing and gearing up etc. Your experienced pilot will take good care of everything as you fly over the Las Canteras beach and the breathtaking coastline of Las Palmas.
In the absence of the regular trade wind (alisio), it is still possible to paraglide in other places in northern Gran Canaria. These places include the areas of Laja or Agaete that are also magnificent, where you get to fly along the Silva bridge or enjoy the view of the Agaete port from a very unique perspective. On days with rain, we will opt to paratrike in the south.
There are no age requirements to enjoy paratriking. There is a weight requirement of a maximum of 115kg for each participant or 145kg for individual who is tall, fit and athletic. The ride is possible also for people with functional diversity (please check with us first).
Paratrike is ideal as a gift, birthday, anniversary, hen do or bachelor celebration. It will be a memory you'll remember for a long time.

Important notes:
Restrictions:
- There is a weight requirement of a maximum of 115kg for each participant or 145kg for individual who is tall, fit and athletic (not overweight). Any cancellation due to the non-adherent of the weight requirement will not be refundable.
- For security and safety reasons, passengers who turn up in the state alcohol or drug intoxication will not be allowed onboard, and no refund is permitted.
- Pregnant women and passengers with heart problems are not allowed onboard.
- Handicapped/ disabled: Paratrike can be enjoyed by passengers with physical and sensory disabled (except in the case of quadriplegia or hemiplegia) and mild mental disabilities. The client must be accompanied and assisted by another person during pre and post-flight.
- Minors with parental consent are allowed to perform this activity
- The company has the right to shorten the tour (without impairing the fun) should there be delay caused by the client, deliberately.
Safety:
- Please wear comfortable clothing and sport/ sturdy closed shoes.
- For your enjoyment, avoid a heavy meal before the start of the activity.
- Participants must obey the instructions of the pilot and crew at all time during the performance of the activity.
