Golf in Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is a relative newcomer when it comes to the sport. However, be sure to visit the Fuerteventura Golf Club, the epitome of first-class course preservation and green-keeping.

Fuerteventura Golf Club
The first 18-hole golf course to be built in Fuerteventura, it today hosts a number of tournaments- the Spanish Open was held here in 2004. Sprawling over 1.5 square kilometres, the course is considered one of the most beautiful within the archipelago due to its pristine greens, lakes, palm trees and views of the Atlantic Ocean.

The nucleus of the Fuerteventura Golf Resort and a byword for luxury, the club house at the adjoining Elba Palace Golf Hotel offers a pool, sauna and various other health and relaxation facilities. Regular green fees cost €70 whilst the club also offers clubs/buggy rental.
