Restaurants, Nightlife and Shopping in Costa Calma
Restaurants


If you are not on all-inclusive package or if you if you do, had enough of it, there are a couple of good restaurants for lunch and dinner in Costa Calma. Some even turn into dance floor as the night progresses. Good for a fun night out.
La Goleta Restaurant
For some delightful Spanish tapas or meals, you need to cross FV-2 to the other side of the motorway for this Spanish eatery with nice ambience. The slight inconvenience rewarded by excellently prepared seafood and meat dishes. SOme of the mouthwatering items are: sticky rice with lobster, roasted suckling pig and cod with creamy seafood sauce. Wash them down with a glass of wine or Spanish beer.

B-Side Cafe
This quirky Italian cafe/ restaurant can be found on top of the Bahia Calma’s shopping centre. Its height means excellent views of the Costa Calma beach and sunset. Customers raved about their great pasta dishes, fresh salads, good house wine and an extensive selection of vegetarian dishes and desserts (tiramisu, gelatos and cakes). Why not stay on after dinner for some coctail and dancing?

Galeria Restaurant and Bar
This German-run restaurant offers wind-proved and heated terrace overlooking the sea. Serving mediteranian cuisine, tapas, and pastas dishes, the restaurant is also serve up nicely cooked steaks and offers good selection of wine and German beers.

Nightlife
Nightlife in Costa Calma is pretty much hotel-bound, offering bars with live music and in-house disco. There are some independent German bars in resort-packed areas offering good selection of beers and German entertainment. For some dinner and dance, head to B-Side Cafe
B-Side Cafe
This chill out Italian cafe serves delicious lunch and dinner. It’s nice decor and bean bags filled saloon is sure excellent for that evening aperitif while watching the sun goes down. As the night goes on, music gets louder and drinks start to pour, weekend theme dancing (Latin American, disco, house)available and gets more regilar during peak season.

There are a number of small shopping centers in Costa Calma (known as centro comercial in Spanish) where you can shop for street brands and duty free items. If you like art, craft and trinkets, or are hunting for some souvenirs to take home, then the morning Sunday market is the place to be. For your apartment and grocery needs, mini markets can be found around the busy zones of Costa Calma resort.
Shopping
Sunday Market
There is a Sunday market at northeast end of the resort where craft makers and trinket sellers from around the island gather. Fake branded goods like handbags, sunglasses can also be bought but do be aware that the price-value equation always goes hand in hand. Come with the expectation of ambience and it’s ok to bargain.

Shopping malls
Given the long stretch of Costa Calma beach and its holiday resorts, its shopping malls can be seen dotting along the resorts The length of the resort means that it is no real central area to Costa Calma, but there are several small shopping centres with restaurants and shops that act as a nucleus for the immediate vicinity.
Mini markets
Groceries like water, bread, milk, potato chips, beers and alcoholic beverages can be purchased from the mini markets which tends to congregate around the major resort areas. Some bigger ones offers more extensive selection of ingredients for those staying in service apartments.
