Ride buggy beside experts who know Mallorca in and out. Going past little hamlets, kingly castles and pious monasteries of Mallorca, these fun-filled buggy tours in Cala Millor set around the man-made wonders and charming countryside of eastern Mallorca. There are two amazing buggy tours to choose from, covering distance of 100-120km and approximately 4-5 hours to complete.
TOUR 1:
From Cala Millor we start our buggy adventure towards the Caves of Arta, with expansive view of the mediterranean sea. We continue to Cala Torta from where impressive view to the neighbouring island of Menorca can be observed. We will take a short pause before making our way along a small yet impressive road to the monastery of Ermita de Betlem. Our returning journey back to Cala Millor will be through a scenic country road via Son Servera.
TOUR 2:
On this buggy tour, we drive up to the Monastery of Bonany through a charming Finca area called Son Carrió. From the monastery, one could witness the expansive panoramic view of the entire east coast of Mallorca. Next, we drive towards Colonia de Sant Pere, where we will take a small break at the beautiful yacht marina. We then continue our journey to on a scenic stretch of road to the Castle of Arta. Again, we will enjoy a picture-worthy view of a typical Mallorcan township town below. We then head back to Cala Millor following a beautiful route.
TOUR 3:
Departing Cala Millor, we drive our buggies past Porto Cristo towards the “Fire Tower”. After a photo stop by the stunning cliffs, we head towards Puerto Colom. we will continue our trip to the natural harbour of Puerto Colom. Continue on the coastal road from there is the Sa Punta cave. We will take a short pause here before negotiating our way up to San Salvador. At 506m high, it is the highest mountain of Mallorca east. From here, one can enjoy and take photos of the stunning panoramic of the island. We then make our way back through Manacor and Son Carrió hamlets.
On each tour, expect 3-4 breaks (we are on holiday after all!). This will give you the opportunity to have a enjoy the scenery properly, take some nice photos, quench your thirst with cold beverages and perhaps, a cigarette break. This is a good time also to swap drivers (with valid driving license of course).
You can have the whole buggy to yourself or bring a friend/ family for the same price. There's also option for 3, 4 or 5 persons where the extra person(s) joins as passenger(s) in our Jeep Wrangler (Cabrio), and swap among yourselves during the breaks.
Important:
- To drive a buggy you need to be at least 19 of age and in possession of a valid car driving license for at least 1 years (probation period does not count)
Please bring: sun protection, sun glasses and bandana for dusk
