Description:

We commence the tour by driving to Mosta - where you will find an 18th century church with a trace of the Roman Pantheon on it. The famous church boasts the third largest dome in Europe. It became a legend in World War II after miraculously saving at least 300 people. According to the story, a bomb has fallen to the church but failed to explode.

Continue your journey towards the town of Ta’Qali, a place where local handicrafts are displayed for tourists and visitors to feast on. The place used to be an outpost for British soldiers during the Second World War. Handicrafts include jewelries out of limestone and silver made by the locals can be found here. If you don’t have any souvenir yet to take home with you, pick one here to forever remember your visit to Malta.

Seal your visit with a tour at Malta’s first and oldest capital – the Mdina. The Mdina is situated in the center of the island, sitting picturesquely on top of a hill. The city of Mdina is quiet especially at night hence people dubbed it as “the Silent City.” The city is also walled just like other ancient cities that exist today. If you can get to the highest peak of the city, you’ll get to see the landscape of Malta and get to understand why people flock in the city. Do not let the tour end without visiting St. Paul's Cathedral, a Cathedral built in honor of St. Paul after he was said to have met the then governor Publius in the area. The governor met St. Paul after his ship was wrecked and landed in the coast of Maltese.

Note: remember to wear appropriate dress (not short skirt/pants) when visiting the Cathedral and if possible, covering your shoulders and arms.
