No visit to Budapest is complete without a bath in one of its world-famous thermal spring spas, The Szechenyi Bath. It is the city’s largest thermal spring bath, built in 1913. Its thermal spring is one of the deepest and warmest in the city.
By booking your tickets in advance, you do not have to wait in a queue – fast and easy entrance provided through Hungária Koncert separate welcome desk.
The Szechenyi Bath’s design aesthetic is Neo-Baroque style. It is situated in the City Park, opposite the City Circus and it can be reached by metro line M1 (the name of the station is Szechenyi fürdõ). It is the largest and most important of all the thermal spas on the Pest side, with its medicinal natural hot spring waters in its numerous indoor and outdoor pools.
There are several options available: entrance with locker, entrance ticket with cabin, optional massage, or opt for the I love Széchenyi Spa package.
Massages:
Get pampered by our delicate hand massage treatment. Aroma massage is a recreational technique with calm, slow and gentle motions and strokes. The primary goal is muscle relaxation without strong and painful movements. You can choose from:
- 20 minutes partial massage (to be performed on back or shoulders, or upper or lower limbs)
- 45 minutes full body massage (excluding head and foot)
I love Széchenyi Spa is a package where guests are well cared for by our friendly colleagues which will guide you around the spa. The package includes entrance ticket, cabin usage, towel, flip-flop, shower gel and 1 bottle of mineral water.
The spa is generally open Mondays to Sundays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. Your ticket is valid a full day until 10:00 pm for the requested date, and includes a cabin usage. It also gives you access to the 18 hot spring pools and 10 sauna/steam cabins. Massage (aroma/thermal) may be added at an additional cost. Towel rental is also available.
Optional pickup service to Spa available.
