Description:

Experience Hungary’s exquisite and world-class harmony from the country’s best concert performers. The gala concert includes the unique elements of classical, operetta, Hungarian folk and gypsy music.

One of the most famous Hungarian classical music ensembles, the Danube Symphony Orchestra is leading the performance, accompanied by professional ballet dancers for an extraordinary show.The program also features operetta performances by the soloists of the world-famous Budapest Operetta Theatre.

Accompanying the grand symphonic orchestra is the country’s traditional stringed instrument, cimbalom. Get to know the Hungarian folk music heritage, through traditional folk song adaptations performed by an authentic Gypsy ensemble. The show also includes a performance by one of Hungary’s great talents from the national “Virtuosos” talent show.

After the concert, experience an extraordinary cruise through the contrast between the two parts of the city divided by the river Danube. Ride the high-class cruise ship to witness the UNESCO World Heritage sites on the riverfront. While on the cruise, have a sumptuous dinner by trying out great Hungarian and international dishes whether you’re a vegetarian, a gourmet or a real sweet-tooth. You may also admire the city from the open upper deck of the ship after dinner.

Every concert starts at 8:00 pm. It consists of two parts, 40-45 minutes each, with an intermission. 

Meeting point: Guests are requested to to arrive at 7:30 pm at either Danube Palace (Budapest H-1051, Zrínyi Street 5) 

Optional pickup and drop off service available.

The 90-minute cruise with dinner starts at 10:00 pm. All ships are air-conditioned/heated and have panoramic windows. There are also open air balconies where you can freely admire the exquisite night panorama.
