Description:

This guided tour begins at the Elisabeth Square of Budapest. Tracing the Andrássy Avenue will pass by the Opera House before stopping at the Heroes' Square. This is a large and majestic square where you will find statues of the most prominent Hungarian Kings and the country's freedom fighters. 

We continue to the City Park where we will pass by Széchenyi Spa - the largest thermal spa in Europe and the Zoo of Budapest.

Next, we drive up to the Gellért Hill (citadel) where you will enjoy the most magnificent view over Budapest. We will enjoy a short stroll in the Castle District area. Your guide will show you the main sights, such as the Matthias Church and the Fishermen's Bastian. From the Fishermen's Bastian, you can again enjoy a fantastic panorama view of our beloved city.

Our Budapest Grand Tour continues to Pes, where we will marvel at the outside of the popular Central Market Hall, largest Synagogue of Europe and the St Stephen's Basilica. We will conclude our tour with an interior visit of the impressive neo-gothic House of Parliament. You will join a guided tour of 50 minutes through the magnificent neo-gothic chambers and staircases of the House. The tour ends here.

BUDAPEST PARLIAMENT

The Parliament of Budapest is the third-largest parliament building in the world and one of the most prominent monuments in Hungary. Inspired by the Palace of Westminster, this largest building in the country with eccentric Neo-Gothic elements and Eclectic style was built by Imre Steindl in 1904.

During the tour, you will wander around the massive halls of the House of Parliament as your guide shares facts and secrets of the Parliament's past. Visit the hall of the National Assembly and to fascinated by the holiest relics of Hungarian history, the Holy Crown and the crowning jewels.

  • Due to high demand, should your preferred date is not available and an alternative date is not possible, iHoppers will provide a full refund.
  • NOTES REGARDING PARLIAMENT TOUR:
    • The Parliament tour cannot be rescheduled, if the guest cannot attend or misses the starting time, we can not issue a refund. Same applies to the optional pick-up option.
    • You must bring photo ID/passport with you when entering the Parliament
    • The Parliament ticket cannot be refunded or rescheduled
    • If your preferred tour time is not available (places are very limited for visiting), we will offer you the closest time/ alternative. If it is not suitable and we don't receive a response from you within 24h before the tour we are not able to refund your money.
    • There will be a security check for entering the building. Larger bags, packages and objects capable of causing injury are strictly prohibited.
    • The Parliament may cancel the tour due to Parliament programs and state protocol events
    • For security reasons, you may not remain inside the Parliament following your guided visit
    • Price includes Parliament booking fee
