Description:
Wander the streets of Budapest through riding the Segway tour to give you a perfect overview of the centre of Pest and the bank of the river Danube. Starting from the central located office, you will roll through the whole city centre famous places such as the Opera House, the Danube Promenade, the fabulous Chain Bridge and the House of Parliament stretching close to it. You will also pass by Liberty Square and the city’s largest cathedral - St Stephen’s Basilica.
The 2-hour Grand City Segway Tour will also bring you to the Széchenyi Spa and marvel a the lush green city gardens as you glide through the historic Andrássy Avenue towards the Heroes’ Square. We will also be visiting the City Park and the Vajdahunyad Castle with a lovely pond, a fairy tale place.
Segway tours usually do not have more than 9 participants, making them an interactive and personal adventure designed for your preference. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and get to know your experienced local guide better.
The Segway is not appropriate for those weighing over 280 pounds (130 kilograms). Anyone suspected of being under the influence of alcohol will not be permitted to ride and forfeit their right to do the tour, without refund. Pregnant women and children below 10 years of age (less than 40 kg) are not allowed to participate. Parents must sign liability and waiver forms for younger participants under the age of 18 years.
The tour starts with a 20- minutes orientation session in front of our office on the big open square (not included in quoted tour time). You will have time to practice on the Segways so that everyone feels comfortable and ready to go out and conquer Budapest.
