Description:
This cycling tour is rated Medium/ 2 and can be enjoyed by those who have some experience in cycling and are fit. The total distance is about 41 km and depending on participants and the group, takes about 4-5 hours to complete. Although seems long, this is a nice cycling route that doesn’t require a high level of technical skill except for the last part of the tour. An highly recommended cycling tour.
Departing Sant Antoni, we head east towards the direction of San Rafael. Instead of arriving to the town, we take a turn into an asphalt road which leads us to small tracks and trails. After a small detour along fields, we arrive at Santa Gertrudis. Another short stretch of asphalt road later, we are back into the wood area where we’ll find the well of Gatzara - an area of legends and disturbing superstitions.
From there, we’ll embark on a joy ride up and down to the beautiful valley of Buscastell. To access it, we’ll have to cycle our way through a steep and demanding trail which finishes at a creek, with its waters coming from the fountain of Broll.
Enjoy hugely reduced price in lower seasons (Oct-May)!
